Human Resources Manager (INDIA)


Primary Job Responsibilities:

Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resource, organizational and employee development.


Employee Relations:

Consults with local Managers and Managing Directors on all areas of HR including planning, organizational development, and talent management. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving. Develop, recommend and implement human resources policies and objectives for areas of accountability. Works with all levels of management and the US HR Team to develop and implement recruitment plans and strategies that meet the business needs. Follow established employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale. Monitor legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources function. Monitor exposure and potential risk. Prepare information requested or required for compliance. Protect interests of employees and the company in accordance with corporate human resources policies and local governmental laws and regulations.  Review employee appeals through complaint procedure. Participate in the performance appraisal programs, employee satisfaction and employee relations programs. Ensure successful implementation of corporate human resources programs for areas of accountability. Conducts new hire orientation and termination exit interviews and compiles statistical reports and information.


Employment Staffing:

General Level of Responsibility: Makes routine decisions and determines proper action based on experience within the limits of the APM hiring policy and procedure. Assist hiring managers through full recruitment process using our internal system VirtualEdge. General participation in onsite candidate interview sessions and candidates review meetings. Partner with US Corporate Employment Staffing manager to initiate and analysis employment details in partnership with the local managers and managing directors as needed to comply with our internal hiring policy and procedure. Follow through of the completion of the offer acceptance process.  


Job Complexity:

Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with local managers and managing directors and Senior HR personnel at corporate headquarters.



Normally receives instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; 8-10 years related experience working in a High-Tech environment.


Solid HR generalist background with knowledge in the following areas: recruitment, compensation, benefits, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development


Minimum of 3 years human resource experience gained through increasingly responsible management positions.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Ability to travel in country between the APM two India locations (Bangalore and Pune) percentage of time will be determined by the Managing Directors.  


Human Resources certification a plus.
